So many contests, so little time! i have been SUPER busy with EVERYTHING! But I have decided to enter a couple contests, Ruby Lockwood is a talented beader and wonderfully sweet teacher on YouTube who hosts a monthly contest where she gives away a 'ton of stuff' to the lucky winner. You have to make something from one of her tutorials and post it to her facebook page https://www.facebook.com/rlIbead4u ...She decides the winner by votes between family members. How genuine, huh? I love beaders, they are just real people. Who have a real life and although they may be famous, it doesnt go to their head. Also thanks to Gianna, who hosts several YouTube channels https://www.youtube.com/user/B4Pbakup ..( is my personal favorite) for letting me know about the Preciosa Ornela facebook page and providing links for thier contests, which are also monthly and you can win a kilo of free beads! Whoa! I have to say something about Gianna here, I have been following her on YouTube for some time now and I really think that she has come a long way with her beading life and I have a great respect for her beading style. I too am a bit of a perfectionist and I will take something apart numerous times and remake it (wasting a ton of expensive Fireline BTW) until it is just so. I mean there cannot be a scrap of thread showing or bead out of place for me! It really annoys my Ma :) But it is what I do. Why waste your time to make something you feel is 'ok' when you really want to say "This is Awesome! I'm proud to have made this and proud to share it with somebody or everybody." I love the fact that Gianna buys her beads from the same store as I do http://www.auracrystals.com/ is thier website they also have a shop on eBay. How ironic, I gotta say.
In my personal life, I got let off the hook of sorts when my daughter called off her wedding at the last minute, which really surprised everybody-especially her fiance' but I won't go into detail, just don't have to fuss with trying to finish all the wedding flowers and Jewelry. I did make the roses which I posted to facebook. And I will probably NEVER do that again! Somebody would have to pay me big-time to torture me that bad, extremely exhaustingly tedious work. Besides me and wire are not the best of friends yet, I prefer my trusty needle and thread, thank you very much :) I will post pics of the creations I enter the contests with soon, and let ya'll know if I win or even get recgonized 'grimace' surelythere cant be too much bad come of it, maybe get a few more followers , that would be cool too. I'm off to try and squeeze some Preciosa beads into my tiny budget this week, maybe some charlottes, or farfalle. Wish me luck!

I Am Andrea Diane Epperson
I am a Mom, a Daughter, MeMe (Grandmother, but don't call me one), a friend, cat lover, jewelry maker, & household goods packer. I am Mom to a married 20 year old Daughter, Jesi Winter who is Mom to 2 precious little girls, Lilica 2 years, and Jasmine 6 months. I am also a Mom to a 6 year old little boy, Andrew James. Andrew has a form of autism called Aspergers syndrome characterized by super-sensitivity to his environment and an inability to tolerate loud noises or lots of noise and crowds. Its sort of like living with a ticking time bomb, never knowing what will set him off; A smell, taste, a toy 'misbehaving'. All of the events of his day must be calculated carefully as he cannot cope with change the way another child might. He has improved greatly, for instance he was very terrified of the vacuum cleaner and now he volunteers to vacuum messes all the time. Small steps like this are huge milestones in Andrew's development and adjustment to daily life. Although his form of Autism is especially difficult to handle because of the sheer raw nerves and the meltdowns are simply awful, the up side is he loves unconditionally and is completely genuine. There are no facades for him, no little white lies, because he is incapable of lying. He is a handful, to say the least, but a pure joy to know and love. Archives
